Rabbits Without Spleens
rabbits without spleens is a collaboration between composer/performer rae howell (artistic director of the sunwrae ensemble) from melbourne australia, and myself, jon cohrs.
we met during a residency at the banff centre for the arts in in the canadian rockies. respectively, as independent artists we have opposing skills in our fields and when combined, we try to create a blend of original samples & beats, and organic timbres & ambiance performed on acoustic instruments (piano, vibraphone, marimba, rhodes, wurlitzer, glockenspiel, trumpet, mellophone & violin)
